About the presentation:
Please join us for a special celebration of all things poetry. At our April general meeting, we will celebrate Poetry Month with poetry readings, the announcement of this year’s poetry contest award winners, the presentation of our upcoming poetry anthology, and a special award for Fran Claggett-Holland from Redwood Writers for her years of service and contributions to our poetry and writing community.
About Fran Claggett-Holland:
Fran Claggett-Holland’s careers include 40 years of teaching in higher education, educational consultant, and author of books for teachers and students. Fran has taught memoir and poetry for Osher Lifelong Learning at SSU. She recently published a fourth book of poems. Fran has served as Editor and Co-Editor of Redwood Writers Annual Poetry Anthology since 2017, producing six anthologies. Her new poetry book, Under the Wings of the Crow, is available on Amazon.
