Her debut novel, The 228 Legacy, was about three generations of women in a Taiwanese American family, each with closely guarded secrets. It garnered several awards and foreshadowed Jennifer’s ability to reach and relate to people of all ages.
Her novels and short stories transcend age while drawing readers in with culture, mystery, and fantasy. A Master’s degree in social welfare and subsequent work with the elderly have helped to infuse her books with much needed doses of personal connection and warmth.
