Tina Mai
“Storytelling: The Power of Words, Initiative, and Community”
This month’s speaker has had a few busy years:

■ Founder of VAST, an app that helps blind & visually-impaired youth write & publish stories
■ Tiger Global Case Competition Global Champion
■ NFTE World Series of Innovation First Place Winner
■ Congressional App Challenge Winner
■ Published in the New York Times
■ Inaugural OC Youth Poet Laureate
■ Amanda Gorman Future Voices Poetry Prize First Place Winner

■ Oh yeah, she’s a high school student.

If you think there isn’t enough time in the day to tell your stories, think again. This incredibly accomplished young writer is here to show how much can be accomplished when the compulsion to tell your stories moves everything forward.

The CWC Orange County couldn’t have a better representation of what makes the local writing community a strong force for positive change.
