Member Open Mic

The August 27th branch meeting will be an Open Mic opportunity for our members. The August 27th meeting will be at the Arlington Branch Library in Riverside. We are planning to stream the Open Mic sessions.

For the Open Mic we are limiting the initial time to 10-minutes per reader, which is, on average, approximately 1,200 to 1,500 words of prose and a bit less for poetry – depending upon phrasing and enjambments. If you would like to participate in the Open Mic please email Sam Nichols your name, a title, genre (prose or poetry), and the approximate word count.
